We hope the information you find here is helpful in learning more about Home and School.
The mission of the Home and School Association (HSA) is to serve as a network of parent volunteers whose purpose is to provide an environment of support and communication between the administration, teachers and students.
The functions of HSA shall be:
• To promote Catholic Christian principles while serving families, faculty and the staff of St. James/Seton(SJS).
• To create and nurture a sense of community in our school.
• To facilitate positive communication between the home and the school.
• To encourage voluntary involvement and financial support for school functions.
• To promote fellowship among parents and school staff.
Parent’s participation in HSA offers a great opportunity to meet other parents, to stay informed with what is happening in our school, and to provide the volunteer help our school heavily relies on.
As a parent, you are automatically a member of the Home and School Association. Families are encouraged to pay $5 dues annually to help cover the costs of classroom parties for the different holidays.
Take advantage of this opportunity, and get involved! All parents are encouraged to attend our monthly HSA meetings in the SJS Media Center.
